ラコステ。
Natasha Thomasが今月24日に日本デビューする模様。NatashaといえばラコステのCMソングを担当するシンガーであり、イメージガールも務めているわけですが、今回リリースされる"Save Your Kisses"は、海外ではすでに昨年9月に発表済みの作品。日本盤は発売直前でリリース中止となってしまった経緯があります。
にもかかわらず半年後の今になって突然、日本中のFM局で3月のヘビロとしてガンガン流れ始めてます。うーむ、音楽のマーケティング戦略というのはよくわからんなぁ。もしかすると、ラコステのアジア進出に関係しているのかな。
それはともかく、個人的には日本盤よりも洋盤のジャケに一票。あと全然関係ありませんが、子供の頃、ラコステは男性用のステテコを作っている会社だと信じ込んでいました。スとテとコが同じというだけの理由です。ラコステの社員の方ごめんなさい。
